-Royal International Air Tattoo-
After struggling for 1 whole year until the next "worlds largest military air show" which is only 20mins down the road, The time has come again, This time with a whole new camera set up (view my "about" page for details).

Sadly I missed the Wednesday Arrivals as this seemed the best day on the you tubes live streams from various channels.
Thursday - Was an early start, getting to RAF Fairford for 6am and queuing for what seemed like a decade.
Arrivals starting to pour in at around 8am with the Swiss display team kicking it all off, followed by some lovely F16s from the USAF.
SoloTurk put on 2 amazing rehearsals on the Thursday which was great, as Saturdays weather wasn't looking in the best of states, plus plenty more action, WHAT A DAY!
Was also great to meet a lot of Fellow friends enjoying the same tastes.
Saturday - Weather was extremely dull, but managed to get in a few good shots, but it was hard work. We missed the RAF Aerobatic team, know as the Red arrows, but to be honest ild seen them a lot this year, so it wasn't a very sad moment.
The Canadian F18 super hornet, SoloTurk, Moggy (RAF Typhoon) , Italian Typhoon, Swiss F16 and also their display team, made for an amazing day...
Oh and the F15e Strike eagle display was beyond amazing, having the privilege to see its rehearsal during the week, this was defiantly the highlight for me and probably most people.
Monday - Departure day, To me, the best day of them all, everything departs, 27 F16s from various part of the world alone, Heavies, Tankers, Bombers, Fighters, Props, you name it, you saw it!
Amazing to see x4 F4-E Phantoms from Turkey and Greece, they may be old but everyone's favourite jet (For me anyway)
If you are wanting to go and wondering which days to attend, ild highly recommend Sunday and most defiantly Monday.
A short blog, but we will be typing for ever if I was to put everything in...
